Re: Bettinardi

I'd like to know what you all think here. The Mizuno Bettinardi got the top rated putter in a Golf (Digest)? (Illustrated)? show-down.

Re: Bettinardi

i have one and love it. for me it has the perfect feel and weight of all the putters i've tried...and i've tried a bunch. the only thing though, it did take me about 3 rounds and several hours practice before i really got the hang of it...

Re: Bettinardi

I've got a C-02h. Feels great, only played 9 holes with it so far. Wish it was a little heavier though.

That's what lead tape is for.

Re: Bettinardi

.

Yeah, back in my hot rod days that was known as "All show and no go".

So the choices are:

1. Looks beautiful but too light to putt with.

2. Feels perfect, putts like a dream but there's a piece of tape showing.

Decisions, decisions...

Re: Bettinardi

I've got lead tape on everything...some places I duct taped over it so that it would stay in place (heel of driver)...you ought to see the improvements in the ballflight...THAT is beauty in my eye...

Re: Bettinardi

I,ve not bothered with the Mizuno Bettinardies` but I would just love the chance to go to Studio B in Florida and have a pick of all the "Real" Robert Js that are there!
