Outage today?

I was unable to get GolfRewound to come up today between 12-6:00pm (last time I tried before now). It kept errorring out, and when I pinged the url and ran a trace route, they both timed out as well.

Just wondered if there were problems or if anyone else had experienced this. As always, I'm willing to help if I can.

I checked in for a few minutes this afternoon and couldn't get on either. Not sure what the issue is but I'm guessing it must have been something with our server. Brooke or Forged will probably have a better explanation when they sign in.

I am too Sling! An under sized faulty breaker? The air conditioners tripped it? I could come up with a better excuse then that!

Where is this site hosted? Bubba's Discount Server Farm and Pool Hall? Needs 7-8 hours to run a self-test? What a load of hogwash! I've run web servers with a proper battery back up that never even flickered when we lost power in a hurricane. That was using a bank of DieHard car batteries, a Craftsman battery charger and a homemade switching unit with a Honda gas generator. I don't know what y'all are paying for hosting, but whatever it is you're being ripped off if they can't keep a circuit breaker from taking the site offline.
