Yes, We've Been Slow

Like most of you, I am experiencing periods where Golf Rewound is very, very slow. These slow periods are extremely frustrating and have been occuring far too frequently. I have contacted our server and put them on notice that if they do not identify and correct the problem soon I will move the site to another server.

Please stay patient and know that I am working diligently on the problem.

Agreed, it's not gonna make me leave the site, it's just disappointing having to wait a while, it makes me feel like I'm on dialup again. I seem to have the worst problem just loading the site and getting into my first thread. After I've gone into one thread, most of the other pages load a bit quicker.

The bad thing is, depending on your host, they probably couldn't care less that you'll move. In all honesty, if you move, it will likely free up some bandwidth for them and everyone else using the host (who are likely experiencing slowness) will be happy.

Take it from someone with experience, if you're having problems, just leave. They may put a band aid on the problem to make you happy, but it will return.

I just ran a database repair to see if that helps speed things up.

We've all had it with SLOW and I've contacted out current host and informed them that the next slow day we have will be our last with them.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope that all of you will bear with us while I get this issue corrected.

Running really well lately, except for yesterday at 7:10 am. Slow for about 10 minutes, but that's the only slowdown lately. Funny how a little threat works.

I don't make threats. Particularly when it comes to service that's been paid for and not delivered.
