Re: Aldila NV

What is the difference between this shaft and the NVS?

Re: Aldila NV

The NVS is a slightly higher launching version of the NV shaft. The NV has a mid high kick point with a firmer tip section, while the NVS has a mid low kick point with a softer tip section.

Re: Aldila NV

I had the NV in a three wood and it just did not do it for me. It did not give me much feel as to where the cluhead was.

Re: Aldila NV

Currently have a 55g version in my driver which I really like as it is long and accurate. I have also tested the 65R which seemed to work well with my swing. On the feedback side of things, I am not sure? I havent tested that many graphite shafts to compare it. But get a lot more feedback from my Callaway 3w.

Re: Aldila NV

I have an NV-75S shaft in my Sasquatch and it has performed very well with me. With the stock shaft in my Sasquatch, I had a really high ball flight that would balloon on me very often, and it played a bit weak for my swing. After trying out some other's I ended up settling on this shaft and it really helped my drives. I enjoy the heavier shaft, and this produces a nice penetrating ball flight. I have it at 44.75" and it's playing great, it has a nice amount of carry with a good amount of roll also.

With this being said, I'm definitely no expert on shafts, so take this for what you will, but for me it has worked very well.

Re: Aldila NV

Good shaft but think the proto 'by you ' is better.

Re: Aldila NV

.

I used NV's for years in my driver and 3-wood and though they performed well, they have a tendency towards "boardiness" in certain situations. Good shafts for an aggressive swing.
