Women's sub forum.

The adminstration team thought we'd throw this out here to see if there is an interest for a women's forum in the Practice Range. Being a female golfer myself, I am aware there are slightly different techniques in swing and play for female golfers and this would give women an opportunity to discuss those techniques in their own forum. Please vote if you'd like to see this forum added!

Re: Women's sub forum.

Seriously, I think it's a good idea and a good time to do it seeing as I believe we have more active female members than ever currently. Of course activity there will be limited to Tuesdays between 9am - noon.

Re: Women's sub forum.

I think it would be a good idea - for ladies that play, several parts of the game (equipment for example) are specific to the them. I like to talk to other lefties about gear, same thing for the women golfers I would think. I vote yes.

Re: Women's sub forum.

I voted yes, because the ladies might need somewhere away from husbands, boyfriends and loved ones (or all three if they are that smart) and male eyes. Then they can really say what they mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most clubs in UK have a Ladies only morning during the week, when the tee is reserved for Ladies only. At our club, there are a group of Saturday morning times reserved for ladies . These are for the ladies who work during the week. They call themselves the Business ladies section, but are more widely known as ' the working girls'

It's the same at my club, although we are now in discussions about going for total equality, meaning men can play on Tuesday morning and ladies can play any time they like. I doubt it will make much difference at the club, the weekend mornings are all taken up with either men's competitions or the informal "swindle" (15 or more groups of grumpy gents) so the ladies won't get a look-in until after noon, when they are already free to play.

Re: Women's sub forum.

I love the idea. There is definetly alot of difference in the womens game than the mens game and it would be fun to discuss these things with other females here and also learn from other female golfer.

I voted yes and I'm glad to see the forum is now up. There are a couple questions I have that Forged has no answer for and I'll have to brave the laughter from the guys when I post them.
