the user cp option

i was used to clicking on this and any thread i had participated in would show updates. will this be coming soon or do you have another way to access this option.

Hey Jake, you'll have to set up your options to automatically subscribe, if you'd like that - to do that:

click on "user CP"

go to "edit options"

Scroll down to "messaging and notification"

look for the drop-down box in "default thread subscription mode"

You can either choose to subscribe without email notification, or with a notification everyday, etc.

ok, not sure i am doing it right. i checked off instant email notification. but i do not see a check off box to automatically subscribe to any thread i started or joined? sorry...j

If you have asked to subscribe, it will automatically subscribe you to the thread the moment you post in it.

that is my point. it is not doing it. i am getting email notific now but not auto subscription like at prev gr ? where is it specifically i can ask somewhere to subscribe

So you are receiving the emails for them - but they're not falling into the subscriptions list in your User CP? Odd, in that mine seems to be working...
so far as i've found it's set up the same as it was on GR... can you elaborate at all?

Not sure if this helps, but for me, after changing options, it did not retro-actively subscribe me to all threads that I had been part of up to that point. Ater changing options, I was subscribed to all threads that I became a part of after changing the options though.

since i changed options , clicking on the user cp seems to be working, at least on this thread, will try it with other thread s, thanks guys...
