Okay, we have made some color changes at the Photo Gallery. Please give us some feedback or suggestions. Thanks! We are thinking of incorporating those colors here on the forum.

The blue font is too bright and the background is too dark- IMO.

It looks cool though!

Hmm, I rather dislike the dark background. I really prefer the white background, or at least something lighter.

Definitely looking very well, the colors are a nice addition compared to what we had, great job Brooke!

I like the concept but it's hard on the eyes - something bothersome about the bright/light green color juxtaposed with the black background of the screen.
And black text is harder to read on the grey background of the threads.

Exactly my sentiments...I like the homepage except for the dark background behind the blue text...I think that for text, nothing beats (or is easier to read and easy on the eyes) as black text with a white background, esp. once you get into the threads...

Here is my proposal for what to do about the colors:

(1) What is killing people's eyes is the bright green. I replaced this with the medium gray that is currently the background for the text in the threads.


(2) Replace the background for the text with a lighter shade of gray. More contrast between the text and its background makes it easier to read.

• JPSuff also made a modified version which I think is much better than the current one. Basically he eliminated the bright green, replaced it with medium green, and dark green background. Here it is ---->
