Hello from Tinfoilhat - and a question
Hi there,
I have been posting on Golf Rewind for a couple of years. In that time I have only posted a little over one hundred times because most of the time I find that someone else can respond with a bit more expertise. The times I do post are generally to attempt to clear up a situation when I feel that someone is getting sidetracked from a real solution. I believe that Pro's can help, no piece of equipment will take 20 strokes off your game, and that the most important way to post a good score is to learn how to chip and putt. I can't putt by the way. Now my question? What happened to cause this forum to appear? Can someone point me to a thread or explain what went on? I have seen forums fracture before and I am worried that people will fall out and be left behind. The best forums try to have a place for everyone.

It's a very long, sad story, much of which was rehashed on the old board the past couple of days. That record has been deleted by the problem in question over there and we have no desire to rehash all of it here. The rest of us are moving on. Welcome to GRT, tinfoilhat.
