Hello!
Well, having only been on GR for 6 months I'm not sure why a lot of you are jumping ship but I'll bite too. Must be a reason but I'll try both for awhile. I retired a couple years ago and took up the game for something to do August 4, 2005. I love it. I've played around 120 rounds or so. I'll pretty much play anytime with anybody or alone. Living in the "Tidewater/Hampton Roads" area of southeast Virginia there is certainly no shortage of courses to play on. Now I play with a group that plays mostly in Suffolk every Tuesday and Thursday but I also play courses in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Smithfield and the Williamsburg area. Still my favorite so far - and most beautiful that I have played on to date - was the Golden Horseshoe (Gold Course) in Williamsburg. I just played their Green Course Saturday and it was a great course also. The Signature and Bay Creek (Eastern Shore) are also gorgeous courses but in my opinion just didn't hold a candle to the Golden Horseshoe. Now if the "cool" weather will just cooperate! Anyway, just wanted to say hello...
