I Made It Over From The Dark Side

.

Howdy all!

I am registered here now. I still don't fully understand what was going on at the other site but I do know that that,(this?), site is one of the best = if not THE best golf discussion forum I've ever been part of and I want to keep that going!

Glad to be here!

Welcome JP!! I guess you've been distracted by 300yards' cookies til now, eh? As Pings said, we'll need the help of all the members, but we believe we can do it. In time, we've got big plans for the site so I hope you can be along for the enjoyable ride!!

Welcome JP! Something I want to ask everytime I read one of your posts, so I finally will: What is with all the blank lines? Is this a style, or a computer / software problem?

Straightshooter, it's just a style I got used to with message boards. Sometimes, between graphics, avatars, signatures and such, a message can get "buried" especially on the edges.

I just space things out so everything is clear and readable.

If it's a problem, or if it's eating up space, I'll stop doing it that way if you'd like. But I guess it's just "me".

Just wondering: I sure stands out, but I have no problems with it!

I actually got yelled at on another golf forum, (which shall remain nameless), for doing that. The Admin. edited my posts to eliminate the spaces. That was a lousy group over there. It was one of those "elite" crowds with ten thousand rules and absolutely no sense of humor.

Needless to say, I don't post there anymore.

I really like this group here. Everyone seems to be pretty "regular" - like the kind of guys you run into on a typical day at the local Muni. It's also a very active board too, which is great because it really ***** when you post something and then wait for what seems like days to get a response.

Good stuff!
