Re: LPGA: Fields Open
Webb and Ochoa were very ordinary at the SBS Open, yet they weren't that far back of the lead.
I would say either Webb or Ochoa to win it. To pick one, I pick Ochoa because she is the fresher of the two players. I also expect the Korean players to do better than they did at the SBS Open. My Picks: 1 Lorena Ochoa 2 Julieta Granada 3 Hee Won Han 4 Karrie Webb 5 Jeong Jang |

Re: LPGA: Fields Open
The predictions are heavily weighted towards the Americans. Surely the Koreans will do better. It's surprising how they were so shut out at the SBS Open.
The SBS Open finished on a Saturday, because it is aimed at a Korean Audience, and a Sunday finish would have been Monday in Korea. So it was very disappointing for Korean TV that the Korean players didn't do better. The Fields Open is aimed at a Japanese Audience, so how will the Japanese players perform. Japanese players have all the sponsors exemptions, so there will be a number of them in the field. Ai Miyazato did very bad at the SBS, so hopefully she does better in the Fields Open. Sakura Yokomine is also a very good player. |

Re: LPGA: Fields Open
The likes of Creamer and Gulbis at even par are too far back to have a realistic chance of winning a 3 round event.
Pak is doing really well at -5. That was kind of unexpected really. Kimberly Kim at +2 is one off the cut line. |
