Seve's Ryder Cup bulletin board material

"I see the Ryder Cup getting very boring because we are beating them so badly. Everybody is losing interest. I think it will be good if they win the next one. It would give the Ryder Cup a lift. I just hope the matches are a little bit closer because they have been no-contests."

Sad but true. I think he really means it. If this doesn't spark the USA team, nothing will.

The American team needs more than a bulletin board "spark." Maybe if Seve hounded Zinger a bit more he'd find a way to motivate his troops.

Well, I, for one, couldn't care less about the Ryder Cup. It's just not that very important an event.

I suppose I'll watch it. I mean, it is golf, right? And I'm looking forward to seeing Valhalla again. But it really doesn't matter to me who wins and who loses.

I guess if spirited golf is played, and respect and sportsmanship are displayed, then it could be entertaining. We'll see.

I LOVE the Ryder Cup. And the Solheim Cup, Walker Cup, Presidents Cup - match play golf IMO is the best televised golf.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I have the US to win: 15-13

The Ryder Cup just needs to get back to being a 3 day competition. In recent years it's been over before the third day began. I disagree that its not a very important event. The Euro team and their fans have shown it to be a very important part of their golf world. It will regain it's luster to Americans when the American team decides to actually show up and play.
