Question Open online coverage

Hi all

Does anyone know if there's going to be an online feed of the Open this year, like there was for the US Open? Or am I stuck with the choice of radio or internet scoreboard updates?

Me too. I was hoping that maybe one of the broadcast companies would have it and had mentioned it on their advertising, but I'd missed it.

I'd imagine they have to have something on that website, even if it's just an hour of bonus pre-network coverage every day.

Re: Open online coverage

Thing is, in the UK, the BBC has the rights to broadcast it and they show it from 9am till about 8pm. It's literally all day - about 11 hours each day (less on Saturday and Sunday, but not by much), so I'm not sure that there would be coverage on the opengolf.com site. Plus, while the BBC may have online broadcasting, it will be UK only

Excellent ! One of the things I like about The Open is that by the time I get to work everyone most has teed off and there are already significant results.

Interesting point of view there. I know when I was back in the UK I used to quite like the timing of the US majors because they were all on in the evening, so I could watch most all of it from the comfort of my home.
