Mr,
She has only played 1 mens event this year so far.
If by this year, you mean over a full time period of 1 year, the Asian Tour event was in that time period and she beat about 100 players in that.
She also beat the full field of 40+ in her local us open local qualifier, as well as plenty at the Sectional qualifier.
Even at the John Deere, she was still well ahead of plenty of others before she withdrew from the event.

The difficultly with your statement is it would be okay for someone on a full schedule, but not for someone who plays the odd event.

Predictions in a seperate post.

*********

My predictions:
She doesn't finish out of the bottom 20 in any PGA Tour event this year.
She doesn't win on the LPGA Tour this year.
She doesn't become the youngest winner on the LPGA Tour period.
She doesn't become the youngest major championship winner on the LPGA Tour period.

Step up to the plate.
My Predictions:
- In 2007, she will win on the lpga tour.
- As regards the youngest winner, I predict she will break the record as it stood on February 1, 2007 for youngest winner. If some other player came and broke it before then, good for them.
- As regards major champion, I predict she will break the record again, as it stood on February 1, 2007. Again, it's not her fault if some other youngster were to come and break it also.
- I will go further on the major prediction. The youngest lpga major winner was 20 years of age. I predict she will be a major winner already when she turns 19 years of age. That's not just breaking the record, but well over a year early on that prediction.
- On the pga tour, I'm not making a prediction, simply because she might not even play a 2nd event in 2007 on the pga tour.

Because her ability to compete on the PGA Tour is as obvious to you as it is to everyone else. And to base it on "simply because she might not even play a 2nd event in 2007 on the pga tour" is ludicrous in your case, as you were the one carrying on about how she had already been invited to and excepted an invite to... the John Deere was it?

Even though you have to save face and are unlikely to admit it, it's apparent even you know she doesn't stand a chance against a PGA Tour field.

And the Asian Tour? Her local US Open qualifier?

I bet I could get a hit in single A ball, too, Rodney.

The deal is indeed done as regards the John Deere, but things can change. There has been no formal signing of anything, although the offer is there and she has said she will play it.
You made a statement as regards the whole season on the pga tour. If it's only 1 event, you should just base it on 1 event, and not make the misleading statement, of events in a whole year on the pga tour. It is just one event.

:
There is no point in saying she will definetely do X well in a certain time period, if she was barely to play on the pga tour in that time period.
There is some significant news to be announced as regards Wie soon, and then we will can debate it further. Watch your local press.

It's February, Rodney, take a wild guess at what year I was referring to, particularly considering I quoted results from last year.

The only significant news that will impress me in any way is making it with her clubs. The rest of this is just a circus.

By the way, you are a master at avoiding subjects

Who cares about this girl she needs to win On tour first.
We all make a big deal over her like she will change the game.

I hope she does well but she still a little girl.

Rodney, I think it is worth noting that you predicted before the Casio (or was it the Sony) that she would make the cut, on the other site. We know what happened.

You said she wouldn't be outside the bottom 20 in 2007 on the pga tour. I just said that given she is only likely to play 1 more event on the pga tour in 2007, your statement is not very bold at all. You made your prediction sound bold, but predicting that she won't be outside the top 20 in the one more pga event that she plays isn't exactly a bold prediction.

I didn't avoid any subject, if you want to predict pga events on an event by event basis that's fine, but to predict it for a year ahead, when there is only 1 event in that time frame is pointless.
Why not just ask how she will do in the John Deere which would be a more accurate question.

Anyway, as I said, there will be an announcement very soon and it will change the whole dynamic of the situation, so just wait for that.

It was the Casio yes, and I've also been wrong about lots of other predictions as well.

I got your back on the prediction issue. I would say less than 1% of the people on this forum got their Super Bowl pick right!

Bolder than yours, which so far is... nothing.

Hmmm.... the PGA Tour exemptions have dried up, the European Tour won't give her another either, so she's going to announce she will now limit her playing schedule to "go to college"??

Boy, I can't wait.

Win it, get an exemption to the Open Championship and win that as well.
Okay, real prediction, she will get within 4 of the cut or better.
I do think she will make the cut if she plays well, and miss it if things don't go right, but still be close to the cut line.
