I wasn't nearly so colorful Saturday - I was in Georgia heat defense mode. That means bone shorts, white dri-fit shirt, white cap, black belt, and black and white FootJoys w/short white sox.
Your outfit sounds lovely
- no comments from the cheap seats and that means you League.

I don't see any photos though???

Re: What did you wear today?

I have to admit that I pay attention to what I wear. When it does become hot though during this time of year my fashion sense is taken over by comfort sense. I usually wear light colored clothing.

I have found that my favorite golf shirt comes from the Walmart George brand. They are good on the pocket book as well. They are easy care too and keep their colors as well.

Yesterday I wore a tan George golf shirt, tan shorts, White Callaway golf hat with black lettering, black belt, and white and black striped nike shoes.

Re: What did you wear today?

Sand colored shorts paired with a light orange Izod polo shirt and white/brown saddle shoes. Headgear was a sand colored hat.... no socks as I forgot them. I always used to play without socks in the summer. My buddies said they didn't see how I could go without them. I retorted that I didn't see how they were comfortable with all that fabric wadded up in their shoes.

I don't know how you can play with your feet sweating on your shoes. If you buy the right size sock, they don't "wad" up.

Shirt from Dancing Rabbit Golf Club (best courses I've ever played!), khaki Izod golf cargos which were too big and kept falling off my rear. Need some new kicks though - mine are about 3-4 years old.

Have you really changed the way anyone dresses, or even thinks about the way they dress to play golf?

I don't see the the fashion mags bustin' down your door offering a golf fashion critic's job so don't leave your station at Mickey D's just yet.

It wasn't just me, but reading the threads here. Yes, they're thinking about it more.

Just try to go out and find socks that fit a size 8 man's foot. Almost all men's socks are built to fit between size 9 and 11-1/2, so that leaves about 1" of sock past the end of the toe if you put the heel in the right place. If you pull the sock up so the toes are in the bottom of the sock, the heel pocket is about an inch up the back of your achilles tendon. If I buy ladies socks, they are so tight they actually hurt the end of my toes. Besides which, do you really believe your socks soak up all the sweat you produce? My shoes end up with sweat in them either way.

That's way more info than I needed.

My 13 year old son wears a size 8 men's shoe and I buy him Youth Large socks. Youth Large is larger than a woman's sock and smaller than a men's sock. You should try them. A little foot powder wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks League...I'll try those socks, but no foot powder.... The way it is now, it keeps bugs and scorpions out of my golf shoes!!!

You might want to consider that it also keeps the "other" species away as well.

Re: What did you wear today?

I'm playing tonight and it's hot here so I'm wearing short (I hope they're not too short ) navy blue shorts, a white sleeveless top with a navy stripe and a royal blue stripe, white shoes and a royal blue baseball hat.

I didn't realize there were actually shorts that were too short?? My wife and I were browsing in the ladies department the other day and I said, "Look at that little belt"...To which she replied, "That's not a belt, you dolt, that's a skirt!"

Re: What did you wear today?

Thought I would post a photo of what I wore to work to day. The shirt is a Callaway with geometric designs and I guess what looks like small flowers, nice pair of jeans, and sneakers (at least it not quite as bold as our fearless leader famous blue shirt). Every time i walked out on the manufacturing floor someone would ask when is the cruise ship leaving. BTW shirt was worn on the outside of the jeans the way it should be worn.

Re: What did you wear today?

Royal Blue golf shirt, navy blue cargo shorts, white with brown saddle Foot Joys, and Nike ankle shocks (white), belt dark brown almost black, Titleist hat. Made a special effort to make sure the shoes were clean and nice looking bought a bottle of leather cleaning gel last night just to make sure they were clean. Well the golf gods did not like what they saw I guess played the worse I have played in a long time, that's what I get for polishing and cleaning my golf shoes.

Re: What did you wear today?

White Polo (some kind of clima cool material) with tan/brown houndstooth cargo shorts, brown on white saddles and a tan cap. Not very exciting stuff.
