Shot 72 1 under par on my home course ( i have now been cut to scratch in the swindle) .It was quite windy and the greens were water logged.

I had a great round yesterday shot an 89. I know not that great for most but I have been in a major slump for the past 6 months. I came back from a vacation to Chicago and the wheels just fell off. After putting the clubs away for about a month and than a lot of work at the range I feel like its coming back.

Didnt shoot an actual score as was playing in a scramble.
However, I did hit 60% FIR and 50% GIR for my shots (using the TaylorMade Black). Have a match on Saturday (matchplay) so again may not score completely but will again keep a note of my stats.

Monday, Feb.11th - My first round this year. I shot an 87, or +20. It could've been a few shots better though. But I am suprised, I went out hoping to crack 100, so not a bad score at all.

I opened with 2 doubles and got 2 more on 8 and 9. On the only par 5, the tees were moved up, so I hit 3 wood, then was withing 3 iron range, except the group in front was a family with a little girl, and the tee box for the next hole was within reach too, so I played away from it and hit a straight shot behind a small bush. What could've been a possible birdie or easy par became a bogey. I got my only OB on the 18th tee, and made a mess of that hole for a quadruple bogey.

Best shot was on 17, my tee shot hit a tree, but came back to the middle short of the fairway. That family was on the green, so instead of waiting, I laid up with a 3 iron to 60 yards-ish. I hit a high sandwedge that landed about a foot from the cup and stopped inches away. Instead of putting out my par, I took a picture with my cell phone and plan to post that as my avatar soon.

Snow on ground and no play today... Tomorrow is supposed to be in 40's, so I will give it a try then.

99 for me today. Water ever where and real muddy. The golf course is nothing but hard pan. Takes days for the water to drain off.

Totally forgot i played today! Bro-in-law came out (I had day off, he pulled a sly one).

Played 10 bogey-free holes - 2 birdies, 3 pars, 4 doubles, one triple! - then a bogey, then a triple, then a bogey, then 2 pars, then bogey double double. Had my first eagle putt for quite a while.

Is spring on its way? Let's hope so

Not a very good round for me, my putting was TERRIBLE. I probably had at least seven 3 putts. I should have been in the 80's easily. Oh well, woulda, shoulda, coulda.

I played my 1st round in about 5 months with my Dad so that was nice. i have been telling him how well I was shooting and didnt really back it up today. He prob thinks im full of it.

Once again I had a 9:15 tee time at Woodley Lakes(par 72) with my dad. I shot much better than I did the last time under pretty much the same conditions. I cut 7 strokes off my last score with an 81. Still have never broke into the 70's but am getting pretty close.

+6 at the weekend. (+1 front, +5 back) With the damp, breezy conditions, I was happy.

Hitting my driver and irons very well, 60% fairways (2 missed by running out of fairway by 1 yard due to following wind), and 56% GIR. The downside I had a couple of bad pitches and had 34 putts where I had been averaging around 30-31 over the last 5/6 rounds). Just had a few birdie putts run over the edge of the cup. Nevermind though. I was happy and it showed that there is still a little room to improve yet.

Mr. Bogey has been working on his game and it looks like he is beginning to turn up the heat. I may have to slide out and get a little practice in while he is not looking.

Finally got out for the first time in a month. Played fairly well considering. Posted a 85. Left a bunch out there though. Doubles and 1 triple. But was still enough to beat a guy in our 4 some that I have never been able to get by. And to make it worse on him it was by 1 stroke. Ha! Ha!
