Yeah, I'm set on balls for the season as long as my brother doesn't clean me out...AGAIN!

I got the TP's on Ebay- six dozen for $145 (seemed good to me). GREAT BALLS- IMO!

Nice set up Will. Are you just a die hard Wilson player or are you on the Wilson payroll? You just don't see a lot of all Wilson guys out there these days. Just curious?

I wish I was good enough to be on Wilson payroll

Ive just always liked their stuff. First set of clubs were cut down wilsons. Then got some prostaffs which i was still using until this year until i decided it was time to upgrade. I just like the history, looks etc. Im not against other manufacturers, I went with Nickents for my hybrids. I would use other stuff if I felt like it would be alot better, but honestly IMO the human component is the most important, and Im not good enough that a $400 driver would benefit me above a $150 driver. Maybe in a couple years.

Will plays Wilsons, just seems right.

I had decided it was time to upgrade over the dinosaurs I've had since high school and finally get some actual ladies clubs, but though I wanted to buy a complete set, couldn't afford to spend too much. After shopping around a bunch online, and asking opinions on various sets, finally decided on the Wilson Hope LX set, a ladies set I saw in Costco and immediately liked the look and feel of. Found a good deal... brand new, $200 with free shipping. Shipped very fast, and arrived today. Eventually once I start playing more again and save up more $$ I'll upgrade again, but these should do nicely for now.

Hey if it makes you happy, there's nothing wrong with it. But even though I myself am guilty of changing drivers rather frequently (though not so much lately), once I settle on a set of irons, I wouldn't part with them for all the tea in China.
A good set of irons is like a good set of tools and once I have a set of tools that work well and feel comfortable, I don't change them until they're worn to the point being unusable.

See, I figure it takes about a season or so to really get comfortable with a set of irons to the point where I know each club's characteristics and tendencies. Once I've accomplished that, it makes no sense to suddenly change sets and essentially start all over again the following season.
The single most descriptive noun relating to golf is: "consistency". For me, constantly changing clubs destroys that consistency. Since consistency of any kind is fleeting at best in this game, having a set of clubs with which I am intimately familiar and in which I have a long-earned level of trust is not something I would part with just to make a buck or because there's a newer, shinier object drawing my attention.

I'm pretty happy with what's in my bag right now. I like to try different equip., but I have finally found a set of irons and putter that I really like and they've remained in the bag. I have sold off 4 sets of irons in the last few months. I'm down to 2, the ones in my sig and a set of Adams Pro Forged. Drivers are different. Altho I love the one I have in there right now, I do try alot of them. I have 2 waiting right now for test drives and actually own aroun 10 or so. I enjoy it and that's what matters, I guess.

This is really the first time I have been extremely happy with my entire set. I am just looking to add one more wedge next year and two hybrids and I will be completely satisfied with my clubs.
