Re: What did you wear today?

Brown and white striped polo with Tan Khaki slacks, white and brown saddles and tan visor. Very windy and cool for Tucson, ergo the slacks.

C-Tech - it's great that you've become so fashion conscious, but isn't "tan khaki" redundant?

From wikipedia.
Today, civilian khakis come in all ranges of colours, and the term seems to refer more to the particular design or cut of the pants/trousers.

CP - you're using Wikipedia as your source - please. We both know that Wikipedia should be taken with a grain of salt - it's neither certified nor sanctioned. How about Merriam-Webster

But because it is an earthen color it can have many shades even in its' truest form. Todays terminology generally refers to the cotton material and the style of design as well as color. Don't you love the Americanism.

You are correct, it is redundant and also repeating the same thing over and, oh yeah, redundant!

Re: What did you wear today?

I played nine yesterday late afternoon. Wore khaki lightweight pants from J Crew, a white Polo golf shirt with a brown pony, brown belt, and brown and white textured leather saddle shoes. Played horribly. Next time out you can be sure I'll wear a non-coordinated outfit........I play better that way!

I don't make outlandish statements but I believe many people have outlandish ears.

CP - I'm tempted to create a poll and get a read on what the others think about that.

Yes, but we all take up space on the planetary world. I thought you were talking about the realm of thought which most here have been a little short on lately.
I guess I'll take a trip back to my Utopia.

Your idea of Utopia!

I read your view of Utopia. I'll pass on reading it again. No offense CP, but I can only take so much of your "thoughts" in one day. I disagree with many of them, but I still like you so I'm going to refrain from commenting on this one.
